If you accidentally leave burn marks on the surface of a wooden display case, don't panic. Generally, you can remove them by simply wiping them with a cloth. However, if the burn mark is deep, you can gently apply iodine or petroleum jelly, and then wipe it with a soft cloth the next day to remove the burn mark.
Tea Cleaning Method: For painted display cases that get dusty, you can wrap slightly damp tea leaves in gauze and wipe them, or wipe them with a dry cloth dipped in cold tea. This will make the commercial furniture particularly clean and bright. However, after wiping the display case with tea, remember to wipe it clean with a slightly damp cloth dipped in clean water. This is because tea often leaves stains, which can affect the original color of the display case if left on the painted surface.
Milk Cleaning Method: If milk is expired and can't be drunk, don't throw it away. You can use it to maintain your display case. Soak a clean cloth in milk, and then use this cloth to wipe wooden display cases such as tables. It's very effective at removing dirt. Finally, remember to wipe it again with clean water, otherwise there will be milk residue and a milky smell. This method is suitable for various leather, lacquered, marble, and polycarbonate display cabinets.
Beer Cleaning Method: Boil about 1400 ml of light-colored beer, add 14 grams of sugar and 28 grams of beeswax, and stir well to mix thoroughly. After the mixture cools, use a soft cloth to apply it to the wood. After the stains are removed, wipe off any residue with clean water, and finally dry with a soft, dry cloth.
White Vinegar Cleaning Method: Mix white vinegar and hot water in a 1:1 ratio and gently wipe the stains on the surface of the display cabinet. If the stains are difficult to remove, let the vinegar water sit on the stain for a while, and then rub it vigorously with a soft cloth. Acetic acid softens the dirt and makes it detach from the display cabinet surface. This method is suitable for the maintenance of mahogany display cabinets and the cleaning of other display cabinets contaminated with ink stains, etc.
Lemon Cleaning Method: If polished or varnished wooden furniture is accidentally burned, leaving heat marks, first wipe it with lemon slices or a cloth dipped in lemon juice. Then wipe it with a soft cloth soaked in hot water, and finally quickly dry it with a dry soft cloth to restore its original shine.
Toothpaste Cleaning Method: Over time, the white paint on display cabinets will yellow, making it look old and dull. You can gently apply a cloth dipped in toothpaste or tooth powder to the surface. The bleaching effect of the toothpaste will turn the yellow paint back to white. However, avoid rubbing vigorously, as the abrasives in toothpaste and tooth powder will wear away the paint and damage the surface of the display cabinet.
Egg White Cleaning Method: Over time, stubborn stains may appear on white leather sofas. In this case, take a suitable amount of egg white, apply it to a cotton cloth, and repeatedly wipe the dirty areas of the leather sofa or other leather products. This method is particularly effective for cleaning leather products, and egg white also has a certain polishing effect, after which the leather will regain its original luster.
