Display case construction

Display cases are specialized display stands that provide protection for displayed goods. Materials include wood, metal, glass, plastic, and engineered wood. Wooden cases often utilize composite wood to overcome warping defects, while aluminum is the lightest metal option. Modular designs are common for easy assembly, disassembly, and transportation. Back panels are typically mirrored or opaque, and the top can be fitted with lightbox panels and spotlights. They are primarily used in the retail industry (jewelry, cosmetics, handicrafts), as well as in corporate showrooms and department stores. Based on form, they are categorized as wall-mounted display cases, center display cases, table display cases, and decorative display cases.

 

Wall-mounted display cases have opaque back panels, which can be chosen to match the exterior color, be white, or mirrored. The top can be fitted with lightbox panels, and internal lighting options include fluorescent lights and spotlights. Height, width, and length can be adjusted according to usage. Square display cases generally have four sides of transparent glass, suitable for displaying small items such as jewelry, watches, mobile phones, glasses, and pharmaceuticals. They can also be used to display larger items such as gifts, handicrafts, electronic products, pens, and tobacco and alcohol.

 

To accommodate multiple display purposes, the display case is constructed entirely of detachable and reassembleable parts, without the use of any adhesive materials. A single screwdriver is all that's needed to disassemble and reassemble the entire case, facilitating easy assembly, disassembly, and transportation.
