Measurement Notification
This is the initial step in the production of display cases for specialty stores. Clients typically notify the display case manufacturer by phone to arrange measurements. It's crucial to emphasize the time, location, and specific brand and category to avoid omissions or errors. The display case manufacturer can also confirm with their local sales team to prevent such issues. To standardize this process, a dedicated measurement notification form should be created, clearly outlining the relevant information and requirements. This form should be faxed to the display case manufacturer in writing as the measurement basis. This also ensures more effective on-site operations.
On-site Survey
After receiving the client's measurement notification, a dedicated measurement form should be created. This form should include specific information about the shopping mall and the client, as well as the specific requirements for the display cases in this specialty store. This facilitates the entire process. Generally, the client's sales representative should be contacted first, and an on-site survey should be conducted by both the sales representative and the shopping mall. This reduces many unnecessary errors. This step is the most crucial and also the most prone to problems in the entire specialty store display case manufacturing process. Common issues include changes in the site and the shopping mall's manufacturing requirements. For site changes, the shopping mall usually notifies the client in advance, and the client promptly notifies the display case manufacturer to remeasure. However, the shopping mall often imposes some rigid regulations that may conflict with the client's CI standards. If the manufacturing does not comply with the shopping mall's requirements, the display case manufacturer's deposit will not be refunded. Therefore, the client should strengthen communication with the shopping mall regarding these requirements to facilitate the on-site operation of the display case manufacturer.
Design and Drawing: Drawings are generally designed according to the client's CI (Corporate Identity) requirements. Different renderings are designed for different shopping malls and different price ranges. The display case manufacturer will create a dedicated design process form based on the measurement sheet. This form reflects specific information about the project to facilitate better operation and implementation. This form is trackable, starting when the designer receives the measurement sheet and continuing until the order is confirmed and delivered to the factory.
Drawing Confirmation: Drawing confirmation is generally done by both the shopping mall and the client. The shopping mall's confirmation is handled directly between the client's sales team and the shopping mall. Problems often arise during the shopping mall's drawing confirmation process. As mentioned above, shopping malls have their own manufacturing regulations for display cases, while your company has its own standards, which can easily lead to conflicts. For example, your company typically uses composite flooring in most malls, while some malls require glass flooring, causing disagreements. The display case manufacturer will usually address these differences after measurement. The measurement sheet, detailing the mall's specific requirements and information, will be faxed to the client in writing. Upon receiving the measurement sheet from the display case manufacturer, the client will further communicate and resolve any issues with the mall, generally minimizing problems. This ensures a flawless implementation throughout the project, guaranteeing the design drawings are approved by both the client and the mall.
Order Confirmation: An order can only be placed after both the mall and the display case manufacturer confirm the drawings. The manufacturer will place the order with the factory in the form of a design process sheet, outlining all necessary elements and manufacturing requirements to facilitate factory operation and implementation. The arrival and completion dates will also be specified. This process is complete only after receiving signed confirmation of the drawings from both the mall and the client.
Quotation Confirmation: Based on the confirmed drawings, we will prepare a specific project quotation, which the client will then confirm and review. After the review and approval process is complete, the client will notify us to begin production. The client must fax a written notification letter to the display case manufacturer, specifying the approved amount, production area, type of product, and required start and completion dates. Upon receiving the notification letter, the manufacturer will also send the design process sheet and final confirmed renderings to the factory. The factory will then proceed with production according to the details outlined in these documents.
Factory Production: Upon receiving the design process sheet (which will specify the mall's production requirements), the factory will review the materials and create a material requisition form for the project, listing all necessary materials. Workers will then collect materials from the warehouse according to the requisition form. Upon completion of production, the factory manager should conduct a final inspection and create a final inspection form to ensure a 100% product qualification rate before installation. During this stage, the factory must strictly adhere to the specific requirements in the design process sheet to avoid any issues. The factory manager must also review the products against the design process sheet.
Packaging Process
Once the display cases are completed, they will be packaged. The packaging method involves first wrapping the entire display case with cling film, then padding each corner with adhesive foam, and finally wrapping it with cardboard. Finally, the display cases are packed in wooden crates according to their external dimensions.
On-site Installation
After the display cases are completed, a project construction order (tracked until completion) is created during on-site assembly. This order includes basic project information and records of any issues encountered during assembly. On-site construction often involves unexpected events and modifications due to non-human factors, which the display case manufacturer will document in this order. This order is also provided to the client and the shopping mall for confirmation, facilitating client review.
On-site Inspection
Upon completion, we will provide the client's sales personnel with the project construction order for overall acceptance, obtaining their signatures and evaluations. This ensures a 100% factory and on-site assembly pass rate. The display case manufacturer also has a dedicated after-sales service card, usually affixed to the back of the cashier. If on-site repairs are needed, you can directly call the manufacturer. Our company will create a dedicated after-sales service tracking form based on the specific requirements, repair time, and repair content from the client, handling your repair matters promptly.
Information Feedback: After acceptance, the display case manufacturer will fax the project construction order to the client immediately, informing them that the project has been successfully completed. The following documents constitute a complete system for a single project: Measurement Notification Form – Measurement Sheet – Design Process Sheet – Quotation Sheet – Production Notification – Material Requisition Form – Factory Acceptance Form – Project Construction Order – After-Sales Service Tracking Form. Each document is indispensable and is designed to facilitate more efficient and faster implementation of display cases in retail stores.
